Legalisations

Authorities abroad often require official documents such as powers of attorney, Deeds of assignments, notarial Deeds be authenticated or legalised. This implies that these documents (or their copies) be authenticated by their Consulate or Embassy in the Netherlands.

Our office is the last remaining Trade Mark agency which is entitled to direct legalisation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands (and some consulates). This right has been confirmed in two judgments of 1995 and one in 2003. This implies that we are often quicker - and because we are dispensed from obtaining interim legalisations - often cheaper than others, who frequently have to obtain interim legalisations.

We attend to the legalisation formalities of colleagues and of the Trade Mark Departments of multinationals. Of course, we also attend to other legalisations.
